Usualy, I just avoid myspace becuase of what I have herd of, but I you really want or need to (not the smart thing) Even if My Space claims of all the crap about safety from 3rd party crap, I would not give a last name, but if it is required... I would either make up a name or just put "nothing" or somthing becuase Ive never tried it and never will.

You can search for anyone even if they have a private page. It just won't let you access the page. But you can still send a message or add them. When you search for someone you can either use the person's email if you know it or their display name or real name.

You can search for people who have their myspace on private. If you don't want your name on when it's searched, put a name other than yours [like a nickname or something] and you dont have to give ur last name... its harder for people to find you if you dont put last name...

the best way to search for someone is by email. I know ways to find people I will tell you in an email if you want to know.

if you dont want to be found, make your last name smith, make up a zip code, etc.
