Fake myspace add requests?

I kept getting spammers trying to add me as friends so I made my profile private and set it for friends only. Now I keep getting add requests from girls with either no location or from cities far away and their profiles look normal. I am guessing these are spammers trying to get people to add them by looking normal? They cant even see my profile. I think they try to post advertisiments on your wall after you add them?

Fake myspace add requests?

Most of them are fake created by hackers and when you add them it sends them your password and account info.

Fake myspace add requests?

Yes a lot of times they will have a profie that looks normal but apon closer inspection, it will say something like "I found this other website thats better than myspace" and put a link to it or they will make a comment as your friend but toting some product so your other friends will see it. If you want to add them, you can also enable the feature where you have to approve all comments before they will appear on your page. But even if you dont do that, you can always delete their comment and them off of your friends list with a touch of a button.

Fake myspace add requests?

%26gt; You may have some kind of worm or trojan

%26gt; or portal or hacker or scammer or

%26gt; just somebody who wants to profit off the internet.

%26gt; If it means anything, I get these requests where

%26gt; there is an X and the message "this profile no longer

%26gt; exists. And what you described less often.

%26gt; I still think if you are very up front with that MySpace

%26gt; thing, and are willing to give them correct information

%26gt; tell them what you can without compromising your

%26gt; PERSONAL privacy, they will be more willing to

%26gt; make your page more secure.

%26gt; Be cool, and don't go to, I mean don't take any

%26gt; wooden nickels.

.....

....

%26gt; hope that elped.
