I got a message from a girl and she said "I really enjoyed your profile. Thanks." But she didn't send a friend request.

Does she want ME to send HER one? (Her page is set to private so I can't read it.)

I've never seen her before and have no idea who she is so because she sent such a nice message and didn't send a friend request does that mean she's not genuine?

you never know until you send a friend request. Just send one. whats the worse that could happen? she denies you? or she turns out to be some bot trying to get you to sign up on some website.

Why not send the friend request to her. If you get on great. If you do not you can always remove each other as friends :)

You never know. However, you need to watch out for the spammers on there. There are so many people on there trying to get you to do surveys, and ringtones, etc. If you are interested send a request you can always delete it if you aren't interested in being friends.
