i had my profile on private for a while, switched it to public for only about an hour and the next thing i knew, i had a whole bunch of friend requests. i switched it back to private but i still kept getting requests from random people all over the country.
how do people find you? is it just with public profiles, or also private ones?

you putting your profile on private doesnt stop people from finding you it justs prevents them from viewing it.(once you add them they will be able to view it.)

Because it's all attached. If you are looking at someone myspace and see another profile you click on it and then you might see another default then you click on that one. and that one and that one and that one. That's how. Dont know if you understood that but yeah that's how it works.
