I've been recieving odd msgs of all sorts from fake looking or private profiles, usualy ones with no picture, anime, one photo, or a drawing. I have a range of msgs.from them. saying I'm beautiful or friendly conversations all the way to insulting me or harassing me. usualy after those conversations are over the profile has been deleted the next day.

I had one from a guy in california (I'm in Louisiana) with an anime pic on a private profile. saying "you have a stunning face, too bad I can't same about the rest of you" I asked he said I was fat but I'm 105, but I do think I'm fat sometimes and only people I know personaly know about my problem, the person later said to be an annorexic girl after I said I like lean guys. and was deleted the next day. this is just an example of what some of those messages and profiles are. the private profiles won't except my friend request (I send just to find out) and I notice simularities in the msgs. I get them usually at the same time like today.

Its probably just people being jerks. Do you have your profile set to private?? Go to account settings then click on privacy then click on "my friends only" that way the only people who can view your profile are your friends and it should cut back on all that other stuff. good luck

Don't pay any attention to the messages. Whoever it is has no life if they go through the trouble of creating a new account everyday [those bastards]. If it's not from someone you know, I wouldn't even recommend opening it, %26amp; block the user.

Also, go to their profile %26amp; look at their friend ID. That will help you determine when that particular account was birthed, %26amp; may help you out a little more. Here's a visual example of a Friend ID:

If their ID is like 10 million or lower, that means they are using really old accounts, but if it is in the 250 millions, that means they are creating fresh accounts everyday, %26amp; you will know that it's the same person. If it turns out that it is, just ignore the person, %26amp; they should eventually go away. However, if you feel you're in danger, you should contact police immediately!!! Report them %26amp; authorities will do an IP address trace on the user %26amp; find out who it is. Then you can press charges. Good luck w/ all that.

Hmmmm, that is very disturbing.

First of all, if you feel like you're being harassed or that someone is messing with you then mark the message as spam, block the user, and report it to MySpace.

Second, if you get that kind of message again don't respond to it. Especially, if you don't even know who it is.

If you're getting those types of messages that frequently you may also want to think about changing your settings so that only your friends can send you messages. To do that sign into your MySpace account and you will see ACCOUNT SETTINGS next to your profile picture. The setting for that is under the SPAM tab.

well sound alike you having problem with some body online. well i can tell you that you shouldnt take so serious from someone that you had meet cause if you do that will cause big problems and also you shouldnt even accepted any friends requests from people you think theyre so nice and or sweet to you first time you meet them online cause if you had him or her adding on youre friends lists and not even know much about him or her then that will cause it. well if the perosn keep senting mean and something to you then you can sent them to the myspace abuse where you tell the myspace staffs to takecare of whoever is harassing you all day. .. so you should be careful who you end up adding onto youre profile. you should just annoying it cause later on the perosn will stop til he or she go some where pick on someone else. . you should also put youre profile on private so that nobody else wouldnt able sent any messages to you that you even know who they are.

That very weird and creepy..Only accept friend requests from people you know, set your profile on private, and maybe you can set it so only your friends can message you, and neverrrrr tell anyone any personal information.
