Only 14 and 15 year olds can have private profiles. It's a safety measure to protect them as naive kids.

If you want a private profile and you're not 14 or 15, change your age to one of those (under your profile settings, adjust your year of birth to 1991). However, it's against the myspace rules to misrepresent yourself, so you're profile may get deleted.

A better next step you can take, though, is to change your age to 14 or 15, then leave it that way for a little while (maybe a couple days). Then switch you're age back to your original age. Since the myspace system thinks you're still a young kid trying to appear older than you are, they'll keep the privacy settings with the age you just switched to (to protect those young kids). So you'll have privacy settings and your actual age, ain't that nifty?!

go to "account settings" then go to "privacy settings". you should see it there somewhere.

Log On %26gt; Account Settings%26gt; Privacy Settings(-change settings-)

Where it says "Who Can View My Full Profile", click on "My Friends Only".

Then Click Change Settings.
