i've had the same problem. it's annoying isn't it?? I'm not sure how to stop the messages other than reporting them as spam but you can stop the requests pronto without having to set your profile on private. what i did was go into my account settings %26amp; under privacy settings you can check off the options where you don't get requests from bands, etc. %26amp; to where someone has to know either your last name or email addy to be able to add you. i did that %26amp; don't get anymore requests now unless the person knows me....it's great!

go into the site and change the email address to another email address

or just ignore the messages.

it's easy to do that. pay no attention to them.

delete the requests once in a while when you feel so inclined.

use the delete all feature.
