give me one good reason y it is not safe!

if you have these procautions already taken:

1. no name

2. no city where u live

3. profile and pictures private

4. have to have your last name or e-mail address to allow user to add you and contact u

Because you could end up contacting and trusting someone who is leading you on. I recently heard about a woman in an online relationship with a guy who was led on for four years. After four years the guy said he wanted to move to the US, but needed money... she sent it.... money was lost, guy never to be heard from again....

But then, from the tone of the question, you probably were looking for something more like... oh it's safe... or.... you'll be just fine.... sorry if I don't agree.

There are too many spam message out there and some people are using the ugly background and layout that is hurting my eyes.

One very good reason reason is sex predators. They pretend to be someone they're not and entice young girls. You can figure out the rest I'm sure.

As long as you are careful who you invite in as a friend...it should be as safe as bring at home with the doors locked.
