Is someone I know messing with me on myspace?

I've been recieving odd msgs of all sorts from fake looking or private profiles, usualy ones with no picture, anime, one photo, or a drawing. I have a range of msgs.from them. saying I'm beautiful or friendly conversations all the way to insulting me or harassing me. usualy after those conversations are over the profile has been deleted the next day.the private profiles won't except my friend request (I send just to find out) and I notice simularities in the msgs like the writing,puntuation, and personallity. I get them usually at around the same time like today and some of them seems as if they know things about me like one calling me fat when I'm 105 but only ppl I know personaly and talked to before know about my problem or know I want to lose weight. so I'm starting to think this may be someone I know, the same person (or ppl) doing this but I know it's a local person? but who could it be one of my friends,a secret admirer, an ex, a friend I pissed off in the past? what do u think

I am not an expert or anything of course with Myspace, but you have to realize, that as long as your profile is Public, ANYONE can send you stuff....I have had many random people asking me to add them to my friends list....some claim to be from adult sites, others are for information on layouts, etc.... So maybe these are just people who have nothing better to do but harrass people all day....I forget, but isn't there a way to report someone? If so flag them and let Myspace handle it.... I mean I suppose it could be someone you know....do you know of anyone who may not like you too well? Consider making your site private....which only allows people you invite to write to you....or set your settings where you have to approve thier comments....My boyfriend actually has it set so that if I was to send him a comment, I would have to wait for him to approve it....hope this helps...I am not the best with advice, but I am bored and thought that I would TRY to help some people today....! Good luck honey....hope you figure it out and get it to stop....And don't forget that if it gets too personal or serious (physical threats, etc...), don't hesitate to call the police...believe it or not, they can track them down...

In Myspace its very interesting. Sometimes myspace certain people make bots that just send random messeges to diffrent users. Sometimes they find away to accses your profile. but the good thing that myspace does is it lets you know if your account has been comprimised. Then it will have you change your password.
